Weekday ops for small businesses · Boise / Treasure Valley
Gonzalez Automation sets up a weekday morning briefing from your work email and calendar- the overnight messages that need a reply, today’s meetings with prep notes, and deadlines that would otherwise slip. You read it in a few minutes. Then you start the day.
Run by Johnny Gonzalez for owners and small teams without a full-time ops hire.
We only need read access you approve. Cancel the monthly plan anytime.
A short morning summary of what needs your attention-so you open the day with a clear list instead of an overflowing inbox.
With your approval, we connect read access to your work email and calendar, set rules for what counts as important, and send a weekday briefing to the address you choose. You keep ownership of your accounts; we only use the access you approve.
This is not a full inbox takeover, a chat bot, or a promise that nothing will ever slip through.
Most owners pick one of four paths. Here’s a plain comparison - no software logos, no invented customer counts.
| Criterion | DIY morning | AI digest apps | Full executive assistant | Weekday Briefing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What you get | You skim email + calendar yourself | Automated summary from connected tools | A person managing inbox/calendar ongoing | Short weekday brief: must-reply mail, meetings + prep, slip-risk deadlines |
| Who decides “important” | You | Software rules / AI | Your EA | Named operator + rules you set |
| Typical cost | Your time (often 45–90 min) | About $10–$40 / mo | Often $1,000–$3,000+ / mo | $450 setup + $125 / mo |
| Tool change | None | Often a new app or overlay | Process + access | Keep your inbox; read access you approve |
| Best when | Volume is light | You want cheap automation | You need full coverage | You want signal, not another hire or dashboard |
| Tradeoff | Slow mornings; easy to miss items | Fast but no local judgment | Powerful; expensive | Not full inbox takeover; weekday mornings only |
Simple, reversible, and under your control.
You connect the accounts you already use for work-nothing we own or control.
We only use the read access you approve for the briefing. We never send email as you.
Disconnect whenever you want. Cancel the monthly plan anytime.
Four concrete steps from first call to a briefing you can rely on.
We learn what “important” means for your business-clients, vendors, deadlines, and who you cannot afford to miss.
You connect your own inbox and calendar. We configure filters and rules around people, subjects, and meeting types you care about.
You get briefings and tell us what was useful or noisy. We adjust so the morning list matches how you actually work.
After setup, you receive a weekday morning briefing. Small rule changes are included in the monthly fee.
Owners and lean teams where missing a client email or a meeting prep item has a real cost.
Small business owners, practice managers, shop owners, and operators who live in email and calendar, do not have a dedicated ops hire, and want a reliable morning summary-not another software dashboard to log into.
Teams that already have a full executive assistant or ops role covering this, or companies that need enterprise security reviews and custom legal before a small automation engagement. We can talk, but this offer is built for smaller shops.
Once the briefing is working, the same approach extends to other daily ops automations-only if you want them.

Straight answers before you write in.
No. You connect your own accounts and approve read access only for the briefing. You keep ownership. If your company policy forbids third-party access, we stop and look for another approach-or decline the work.
Common small-business setups (Google Workspace / Gmail + Google Calendar are the usual start). Other systems are case by case. We only use accounts you own and approve for the briefing.
Weekday mornings in your timezone. Exact time is set during setup (for example, before you typically start work).
That is expected. The first two weeks are for tuning. You mark what was useful or not; we adjust the rules.
Monthly after setup-cancel anytime. We will help you disconnect cleanly. Setup is one-time and non-refundable once configuration work has started, unless we agree otherwise in writing before kickoff.
